Brief biography

Senior Economic Affairs Officer of ILPES in Santiago, Chile. In the last 25 years, he has worked with the UN, other development organizations and universities on all continents, in areas of sustainability, climate change, energy transition, as well as knowledge management and information technologies for development. He currently supports governments in the planning and implementation of sustainability strategies, particularly with the systemic articulation between its three dimensions - economic, social and environmental - and between the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of the 2030 Agenda. He has a PhD in Political Science from the University of York at Toronto, and is the author of several scientific articles and books on the above topics.
